Oddworld resurrected

The award-winning Oddworld games might not be dead. In fact, multiple titles are in the making, one of which is in development for 12 months. Oddworld is a cult franchise, with the highly praised '97 and '98 classics Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus for PC and PS, and a Munch's Odysee and Stranger's Wrath on Xbox and Game Boy.

The new games in the franchise will be released on PS3, Xbox 360, PSP, Nintendo DS and Wii, so you know the developer is meaning serious business. All we know for now is that they "will be announcing these exciting projects starring all of your favourite Oddworld characters", soon-ish.
