Bioware Helps With Darkspore. Just A Little

Darkspore is a game developed by Maxis and as you can probably tell from the name, it's based on the original Spore. To be precise, it will borrow the gameplay mechanics and the cute creature creation thingie, while the story takes the path of Diablo. What this means is a lot of action with a lot of enemies and the endless Spore-like possibilities.

What's more interesting is that Bioware will lend a hand to Maxis and help them with the story part. Malcolm Azania of Bioware will be the lead writer for Darkspore, and judging by the fact that he wrote for Mass Effect 2 too, this is going to be an intriguing game after all.
